Restaurant Linda vista located at the Rede Beach Boutique Resort is one of the best restaurants in Guajiru. Ocean front dining at its best, while you listen to Bob Marley, and Jack Johnson, featuring a wonderful selection of fresh fish, steaks, sandwich and pizza dishes.
At some point during your stay whether during lunch, dinner or an afternoon snack you much try the cheese pastels (above) they are incredible, not too fried and perfect to munch on while you wait for your maid course. The first night we had lobster and shrimp in a pineapple sauce served with coconut rice. Hands down the best coconut rice I have ever had in my life! It has real pieces of shredded coconut in it and the combination with the pineapple was just outstanding. For R$150 (US$70) we had a bottle of wine, caipirinha’s, basket of pastels and the lobster/shrimp dish (below).
Every morning a traditional Brazilian breakfast buffet in included, howerver in all honestly it was my least favorite of the trip. For some reason they weren’t able to get breakfast just right, but lunch and dinner were supurb. I ended up eating lunch there 2 of the 3 days we were at Rede beach, so for lunch I recommend the chicken Cesar salad made with shredded lettuce (it was fantastic), the crab cakes (made with real crab and not overly fried), or the grilled chicken club sandwich. For our last night we had the filet mignon with coconut rice and beans (shown below, made for 2) which was delicious and cooked perfectly.
