Hidden amongst the tropical tranquility of coconut palms, on the beach of the small fishing village of Guajiru, is the unique, privately owned Rede Beach Boutique Resort. The resort (about an hour drive from Vila Mango) sits 120km along the breathtaking sunset coast, from the state’s capital of Fortaleza, Ceará, in North East Brazil. Simple yet stylish, Rede Beaches 24 rooms have everything you need to relax and enjoy this unforgettable location. Each room has a balcony with hammock and is very spacious.
Located right on the beach there is a lovely pool area with beach chairs in and around it, as well as hammocks and small beach huts that line the beach in front. There is also a playground and football field facing the beach so you know it’s a kid friendly hotel. Another kiting mecca, there is a kite school where you can take lessons or rent any of the equipment you might need. Not in the mood to kite but want to get your hands wet? There are lots of water sport options like surfing, wind surfing, kayaking or sailing.
The hotel also has a long list of cool tours and adventures like visiting other small towns (Flecheiras), dune tours, quad buggy, boat tours, enjoying one of the many spa services, romantic packages (like a bon fire on the beach for R$100, private tree house dinner) and sunset dune tour. Since we were only there for two days I was able to squeeze in the quad buggy’s, the town of Flecheiras and the sunset dunes trip, so make sure you check back for the pics and videos, both are incredible!!
Since there isn’t much to do there at night besides the romance packages or sunset dune tour (MUST READ THIS POST ) Rede Beach has a ‘game area‘ so you can create your own entertainment:) Order up a bottle of wine (they have a nice collection) and play a few games of pool, checkers, chess, cards or jenga…FYI I am the Jenga Master!! The hotel Restaurant Linda Vista is one of the best restaurants in Guajiru, check back to read all about it!
